Employment resource service centers located throughout the world provide opportunities to those who are unemployed or who desire to learn job skills. The centers are available to those of all faiths, not just members of the Church.
- The centers are run by trained volunteers who are supervised by full-time staff.
- At these centers, participants can find information about available jobs and receive job training, such as computer and typing training and tips on how to enhance a resume.
- Currently there are 103 centers in the United States and 156 located throughout Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Europe and Latin America.
- In 2005, Church employment centers placed 93,221 people with jobs in the United States and Canada and 128,977 internationally.
