Mormon Tabernacle Choir Easter Concert to Feature Handel’s Messiah

In a very rare performance, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square will present Handel’s Messiah in its entirety. The Easter performance will coincide with Good Friday, 18 April, and Saturday, 19 April 2014, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle and will also be the first time in 10 years that the full choir and orchestra will perform at the Easter concert. Mack Wilberg, music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will conduct the event.

New British Pageant Takes Center Stage

A cast and crew of more than 300 volunteers are bringing early Mormon history in England to life in a first-of-its-kind musical production. The British Pageant, "Truth Will Prevail," tells the story of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British Isles.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir to Live Stream Pioneer Day Concert

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will provide a live stream of the Saturday evening edition of its 2013 Pioneer Day concert. Saturday’s show begins at 8:00 p.m. MDT at Motab.org/Pioneer2013; Friday’s show, which will not be aired live, starts at the same time.
