In conjunction with the National Governors Association meetings held in Salt Lake City 14-17 July 2011, spouses of the governors visited the Humanitarian Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 15 July.
Many members of the group expressed surprise and admiration at the extent of the efforts at the center, which distributes humanitarian and emergency aid all over the world. The visitors also helped make hygiene kits and school bags for those in need.
