A new uplifting song recorded by Mormon artist David Archuleta is being enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The single, "Glorious," is from Meet the Mormons, a new feature-length documentary that will be released in 250 theaters across the country on 10 October by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Church released a music video this week and “Glorious” is available as a free download on the Meet the Mormons Facebook page.

As of Thursday afternoon, Archuleta’s song had 127,000 downloads. The music video has more than 323,000 views as of this afternoon.

The video has received hundreds of comments on YouTube from viewers expressing their gratitude for the song’s message.

“So strong and inspirational,” said one viewer. One commenter added, “Motivating song.” Another viewer commented, “It makes me just want to help people.”

This is the first official song and music video Archuleta has released since returning from a Mormon mission to Chile earlier this year.
